Defining Your Irresistible Message, part 1

One of the things that I love to help my clients with is defining their message. We explore the unique gifts and help them express those gifts to people in an authentic way.

We’ve often been taught to use a very consumer approach to sales that just doesn’t work in our current world. If you’d like to know more about how I changed to a relationship-based approach, you can read more about creating an intention for your business HERE.

Today I want to help you define how you will create a relationship with your ideal clients through your irresistible message. I’m breaking this process into 2 parts so that you can really digest and take your time going through these questions.

Action Step

Read the post below, then set aside time to journal on each of these 4 questions.

1. What do you think is missing in our world right now?

For me, I see we are missing compassion for one another. I see that we aren’t listening and being respectful of different points of view. I see division and separation. It’s not what I want to see, but that is definitely something I’m highly aware of.

I’ve decided to make and create something else in my own world. I want to be the ripple effect of kindness out to the world.

What can you do in your business to bridge this gap that is missing? How can you build relationships from that missing piece?

This is something that you might want to journal on so that you can have a deeper awareness of how that reflects in running your own heart-centered business.

 

2. What do you believe is or was missing in your own life?

For many people, it’s the ability to speak their truth. To actually be the authentic person they were meant to be. They’ve been trained by society to be someone that they really aren’t so they can fit in. But that ends up being the very thing that makes them feel inauthentic.

Another example is a safe space where you can be 100% who you are. To be vulnerable and honest in your own unique way!

How can you create this in your own program?

Chances are if it’s missing for you, it’s missing for plenty of other people out there. This is your opportunity to create what you feel is needed in this world!

 

3. What do you see is missing in your ideal clients in relation to what you offer?

For example, what I see often missing in my ideal clients is self-trust. Like really honestly, deeply trusting themselves.

If this was missing you, I would want to give you deep belief and trust in yourself. I really do believe that I’ve had the courage to take risks in my business and in my life because even with any limiting beliefs that I have on a deeper soul level, I have this trust within myself.

What is it that you find missing? How can your program help them with this?

 

4. What are they saying they want in their own words?

Many times, our clients will tell us exactly what they want. An example is, “I want more time with my kids, I want to be able to take off when I want to, I want to live my life on my own terms.”

Make sure that you get very specific. For example, how would your ideal clients tell you what they are struggling with?

Again, take your time going through these questions so that you can get really clear on defining your irresistible message.

Next week, I’ll be taking you through the rest of the exercise and helping you tie it all together so that you can speak authentically to your ideal clients without feeling salesy or pushy!
