The ONE thing missing in your sales conversations
Imagine with me for a moment that you have the BEST content in the world inside of your head. No one else knows about your content except you. If you don’t share it, no one in the world will ever know about it…
Are you letting your magic within wither away, or are you sharing it? If you aren’t sharing it, what’s stopping you?
If you knew without a doubt that what you have inside of you is so good, what would you do with it?
One of the most effective ways I teach my clients sales is through sales conversation role-plays. Through the process of role-playing, I realized the one thing I see missing, again and again, isn’t the call to action or going deep enough, or transitioning to the offer, it’s this: believing in yourself.
Before you click away because you think you already know this… keep reading.
What if you really, truly believed in yourself? What if you acted as if you had the best thing on the planet?
Now, I never like to leave you without practical tips, so here are 2 ways you can believe in yourself and lead with love in a sales conversation.
-
Ground yourself before your call.
Take at least a few minutes before you get on the call to ground yourself. Think about how incredible it is that even with all the people on the planet, the two of you are coming together today to have this conversation. Be in the energy of being present and being willing to listen.
Use the potential client’s own words to make the offer.
If you believe on the deepest level that you can help the person on the other end of the line, then be willing to go into the offer. You can simply say “I believe I can help you. Do you mind if I share with you what would it look like?”
Then go into talking about how your package or program or service can help your ideal client get to where they want to go and tie in their vision with it in their own words. Again, only make the offer if you truly believe you can help him/her.
Both of these tips have to do with listening well. Care enough about your potential client to truly and deeply listen to what he or she has to say. It’s one of the most loving things you can do in the context of a sales conversation. I’m confident when you implement these you’ll not only feel better on sales calls, you’ll also sign more clients.
