Defining Your Irresistible Message, part 2

This week, I”m going to take you through the second part of how to define your Irresistible Message.

If you haven’t read through Part 1 of Defining Your Irresistible Message, you can do that HERE first.

Defining your core message is the key to creating a strong relationship with your audience and your ideal customer. When you have an irresistible message that is authentic, confident, clear, and solution-based, then your ideal clients will be lining up to talk to you.

To help you continue clarifying your message, I’ve provided you with questions so you can help your clients identify what will help them with what they want to achieve in a way they can easily understand and see themselves attaining the goal they want to reach.

1. What do they THINK they need in order to get what they want?

An example of this would be if you are a weight loss coach, they might think they need a fitness plan or a meal plan. Maybe they need someone to keep them accountable. Or someone to coach them when they are feeling vulnerable and want to eat something they shouldn’t.

What can you provide them with that will solve their problem?

 

2. From your unique point of view, what do you believe is the first step they need to take in order to achieve that vision?

For many people it’s a simple assessment of their lives. For others it could be to define their core values or healing trauma. Asking yourself what your ideal client may be missing.

This will look different for everyone but it’s an important step to help your client start to see a vision for themselves and how you can help them to achieve that vision.

What do they need to fill the gap between where they are now and where they want to be?

 

3. If applicable, what is the key that will help them unlock that first step? (If you didn’t already answer this in the last question.)

Here is where you tell them how you can help them get to their next practical step of what they are looking for. For my clients, I help them to create a clear message (like I’m doing here) so that they can create a connection with their ideal clients.

What is it that you offer that they are looking for? What will help them to take that first step into what they truly want for themselves?

 

4. What is the “key” thing that you want them asking for?

We always want to focus on the actual language our ideal clients are using. Are people going to say, “I’m looking for authenticity?” Probably not. I don’t think people necessarily say, “I’m struggling with being authentic. Or I feel like I’m being inauthentic.” What they do say is:

I’m getting crickets
I’m struggling with my message
I’m struggling with conversions
I’m struggling with putting myself out there.
.
And when they start talking about what they are struggling with, this will help you to authentically tell them how what you offer will help them get exactly what they are asking for.

Once you’ve gone through each of the questions I’ve provided in this 2 Part Series on defining your irresistible message, you will be able to confidently talk to your ideal clients in a way that will help them to define their own struggle, what they need to fill the gap, and exactly how you can help them to fill that gap and reach their goals.

Defining your message will help you to create that relationship with your clients because they will feel that you understand their pain. Being the solution to their problem and knowing how to explain it will help you to increase your sales and get more of the right people coming to you for your expertise.
