What to look for in your next coach…

 

When I first started my business I was doing it all on my own. I was researching, setting things up. Then I ended up working with some local business coaches with really small packages for a few sessions at a time.

What I realized is all my thinking was based on scarcity thinking. What’s the cheapest way I can get support?

Sometimes I even bartered!

Now it’s a much different story. I invest in high-level coaches. The saying “you get out what you put in” holds true!

Here are 5 things to ask yourself and consider when hiring your next coach:

 

1: Do you feel a connection with the coach you are considering?

If you don’t, then it’s not likely you’ll have a productive relationship while working together.

 

2: Have they achieved the very thing YOU want to achieve?

When I think about my own coach, she has built a multiple 7-figure business with a wonderful lifestyle – exactly what I want to achieve.

Also ask – does your coach continue to grow?

 

3: Is this the type of person I want to be influenced by?

You are a reflection of the 5 people you spend the most time with.

 

4: What kind of offers do they have?

What is important to you, and do the offers align? For example, do you value 1:1 interaction and being a community? Then working with a course that only has an online course may not make sense.

 

5: Be willing to invest!

Successful people make decisions aligned with their vision and they always find a way.
